The death penalty as an anthropological problem

My work aims to introduce the reader to the issue of the death penalty and to show how it was or is perceived across the political, religious, ethical and historical spectrum. The aim of this work is to present the death penalty as an anthropological problem, which is complex and cannot be reduced only to its certain aspects, such as legal or historical.
The specifics of social work with seniors and possible ethical dilemmas of work from the point of view of a social worker

The bachelor thesis deals with the ethical dilemmas of social work in residential services for the elderly. The first chapter defines the concept of old age and describes the accompanying phenomena of the aging process. The second chapter describes the methods of social work with the elderly and defines residential services for the elderly. The third chapter deals with the ethical aspects of social work with the elderly and describes the role of the social worker. The fourth chapter defines the concept of ethical dilemma and conflict of values. The next part presents dilemmatic situations on specific examples from the literature. The fifth chapter is devoted to empirical research, which is based on real statements of social workers in residential services, illustrates what ethical dilemmas social workers most often encounter and how to solve them. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to specify social work with seniors, to describe the ethical dilemmas of social work with seniors in residential services and to show, on specific examples from qualitative research, which solution social workers prefer.
The individual planning of a social service in a residential facility for the elderly

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of the process of individual planning of social services in a residential facility for the elderly with the aim of identify the roles of a social worker and ethically problematic areas in the planning social services in a residential facility for the elderly. The text of the thesis is divided into three thematic headings. The first thematic heading is devoted to a general view of the process of individual planning in a residential facility for the elderly. The second thematic heading deals with presenting the roles of a social worker that he or she can perform during the individual planning proces. It also discusses ethical aspects in residential facility for the elderly. The final thematic heading presents possible problematic situations that may occur during the process of individual planning in a residential facility for the elderly, which are supported by practical knowledge based on a research probe.

The basis for the correct setting of all the parameters of service (process, personnel and operating) are standards in the quality of social services which involve certain principles and ethical values altogether. One of the essential tools in the changes in approach to clients is the principle of individualization of care, which can be achieved by setting the services to each client individually so that the service provided reflects their real need as much as possible. This dissertation focuses on the individualization of care as a significant indicator in the changes of approach to clients. We tried to figure how the individualization of care reflects in the attitudes of organizations to implement quality standards and how it affects the worker's personality and chosen organizational aspects. The diploma thesis deals with concrete ethical aspects, which a social worker can encounter when working in a low-threshold facility for children and youth. The following basic objectives are defined in this thesis: To find out what ethical issues are encountered in dealing with risky youth. To find out how to deal with these problematic phenomena in practice. The thesis is divided into 4 chapters and each chapter is divided into several subchapters. The first chapter deals with social work with risky youth. The second chapter deals with the ethical aspects of social work from a general point of view. In the third chapter, respondents' testimonies are used to identify more specific ethical aspects of their practice.
